Despite the operating ceasefire, the Ukrainian militants continued to violate the truce, endangering the lives and health of citizens of our Republic.
Over the past day, in the Donetsk direction, the Ukrainian occupation forces shelled the areas of six settlements. The enemy engaged fire with infantry fighting vehicles, and also used grenade launchers and small arms.
In the Gorlovka direction, the militants subjected Zaitsevo settlement to a bombardment, the punishers launched fire with large-calibre small arms.
In just twenty-four hours, the Ukrainian armed groups committed 16 vioaltions of the ceasefire.
The DPR Representation to the JCCC 15 times requested silence regime. During the negotiations with the representatives of Ukraine in the Joint Center, only in eight cases it was possible to achieve a ceasefire.
Representatives of the Ukrainian JCCC in an informal conversation explained their failures to demand the ceasefire observance by the occupying forces by the fact that they had not had the opportunity to influence the command structure of military formations and even by the frank refusal of the commanders of separate units to obey the instructions of the OOF (operation of the occupation forces) in matters of compliance with the ceasefire.
Our intelligence received information about another dastardly provocation, which is being prepared by the Ukrainian invaders to take place during the "Easter truce."
Thus, at the present time, a group of 15 militants, who had completed four-week courses of subversive and terrorist training in the 198th training center of the Ukrainian Navy Forces under the guidance of instructors from Great Britain, arrived at the base of the 36th brigade. The course was focused on intelligence training and conducting subversive and terrorist acts in enemy settlements.
In view of the arrival and the meeting held with the command of the occupant forces under the leadership of Poroshenko on April 1 in Mariupol and Volnovakha, we do not exclude that the newly trained saboteurs will try to destabilize the situation on the contact line of the troops.
