Kiev security forces intend to engage fire on one of the checkpoints on the border with Ukraine. This was announced today in the Operational Command of the DPR.
"In order to destabilize the situation in Donbass, Ukrainian special services are preparing another series of provocations against the DPR Armed Forces.
According to information received from sources in the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies, the provocations that are being prepared will be held before October 17 directly at one of the checkpoints of entry and exit in the areas of the settlements of Mayorsk, Maryinka, Elenovka and Oktyabr. In addition, for the implementation of provocations it is planned to attract fighters of the 24 assault battalion "Aidar" and the 'Ukrainian Volunteer Army', which are extremely cruel, especially in relation to civilians.
The plan of the Ukrainian special services is to artificially create at the checkpoints queues from those who want to cross the checkpoint and to fire on civilians from small arms, which is to be done by disguised Ukrainian militants with the identification marks of the DPR army. The panic and confusion that will be created is to be used by the nationalist units, which have been drawn to the contact line, as a reason for opening an alleged reprisal fire. And all this will happen before the cameras of the film-making groups of mass media controlled by Ukraine.
We note that on October 8, 2017, the speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on ATO issues, Alexander Motuzyanik, announced the strengthening of the operational groups, formations and AFU units in the so-called 'ATO' zone on the eve of the anniversary of the "Day of the Defender of Ukraine".
Thus, we assume that the Ukrainian party plans to deliberately conduct an action that will be used as regular accusations against the DPR and to demonstrate this alleged aggression to international observers and human rights organizations. At the same time, it should be emphasized that in the period from October 10 to October 13, the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Ursula Mueller is on a visit to Ukraine, whose plans include visiting Donbass," the Command informed.
